Pipeline for Agricultural Leaders (PALs)

 





The USDA/NIFA sponsored Pipeline to Ag Leaders (PALs) program aims to create a pipeline between New Mexico State University (NMSU) and Chico State to enhance access to graduate student training and competitiveness in the nations agricultural and scientific workforce.


Student success in the NMSU Animal and Range Sciences (ANRS) graduate program is attributable to the efforts of dedicated faculty who mentor and guide students through their graduate program. Student eligibility and program benefits are outlined below.

Student Eligibility


Undergraduate Students
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • A junior or senior-level student
  • Willingness to participate in a summer internship
Graduate Students
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Registration with graduate student status
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours
  • Willingness to participate in a summer internship
